What we collect, and why

We do share your personal information for advertising
This site loads advertising and measurement code from Google and Meta. Through it, identifiers tied to your device and your activity on this site are disclosed to those platforms and can be used to show you advertising elsewhere. California law calls that sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, and it is happening on this site today.
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we never disclose your uploaded plans, your email address, or the contents of your message to an advertising platform. What is disclosed is the advertising and analytics identifiers described above.
You can stop it. Use Your Privacy Choices at the bottom of any page, and it stops before any tag on the page can read anything.
We combine this with our other brands
AACI Group runs a family of related services, including Defensible Space Score, Home Hardening Score, Wildfire Action Plan, WildfireList, FireFoil and Five Bays Insurance Agency. We combine what we collect across them to recognize you, build a fuller picture of a property, and produce aggregate insight into wildfire risk. Some are run by different companies under common ownership, and we treat that as disclosure to an affiliate rather than a sale. An opt-out or deletion request made on any one of our sites applies to all of them.
We do not collect sensitive personal information
We do not ask for your Social Security number, driver license or state ID number, passport number, financial account or payment card details, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, religious beliefs, union membership, genetic or biometric data, health information, or anything about your sex life or sexual orientation. We have no use for any of it. We take no payments and never ask for payment details.
Your choices
You can opt out of sale and sharing, unsubscribe from marketing, or ask us to show, delete or correct your data, at any time, without giving a reason and without creating an account. Use Your Privacy Choices at the bottom of any page, or submit a privacy request.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal we treat it as an opt-out and act on it immediately.
We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
